Since TT uses AppConfig I would vote for that one since it would
a module dependency (YAML + Spiffy) and it is already needed by TT

That should be a consideration when you are building on "best of
tools. "What are they using already". Too many dependencies can be
a bad
thing IMO.
Have you looked at our current dependencies? :)

Btw. Recent tests showed that installing Catalyst (with prereqs) on a
vanilla unix using CPANPLUS works flawless without a single failure!

Vanilla Unix means nothing to me. I am on Windows boxes most of the
time. I was actually thinking something else when I wrote dependencies.
What I meant was why "another" config format when TT already uses
AppConfig and so you can get rid of the YAML issue altogether.

People, *PLEASE*, can we not reply to digests? It kills the
threading, making smarter mail clients useless for those of us
who use one. It also kills the threading in any web-based mailing
list archives, and due to useless subjects makes it much harder
    to search them.

At least Robert had the courtesy to trim and reply properly here,
so rethreading things manually doesn?t leave a mess. Some people
don?t even do as much. (I?ve long wondered if it?s sane for
mailing list software to accept posts from addresses subscribed
    to a digest.)

I?m deliberaterly sending this on-list instead of in private mail
because I?d like to avoid complaining to every offender
personally; I?d like to think this is an at least moderately
common complaint and not just me being curmudgeonly.
