Hi all,

I'm wondering if there are some "total metrics" that can be captured by
rabbitm or the mgmt plugin. For example, I want to be able to report that
our brokers received x number of messages, routed x number or messages for
the month.

    Not at the moment, but this is on our todo list.

    The API actually reports totals, but these are just aggregates of
    lower-level stats, so, for example, when a connection is closed its
    contribution to the total number of published messages reported in
    /api/overview is discarded.
