FAQ
Dear Sirs,

I am managing some of my e-mail listings with mailman and would like to know
if there is a possibility to configure mailman, that users could subscribe
to lists not via web, but sending mail for the specific e-mail address with
specific subject (f.e. using mailto:subscribme at site.com?subject=subscribe
list_name ). I would be very thankful for explanation how should I configure
the software.

Best Regards

Sure Pawel - that's pretty much exactley how it works. You can have the link setup like 'mailto:listname at whatever.whatever.com?subject=subscribe'. This is the way that I have it setup on my website, people have the choice of either hitting the web page directly for registration or clicking a link that shoots the mailing list an email. :)
