bug report already describes this very problem. Even if you feel
that your issue is somewhat different, the resolution is likely

I read the UID GUI for the daemon from a config file. Maybe the daemon
should convert them into integer automatically. Currently If I pass a
string to "appRunAsGID" "appRunAsUID" I got error - not possble set
group permissions for pid.
Can you cast (int) these variables before processing?
