Thanks for the patch Nicola.

It's been a while and no one has applied/fix this patch, so I'm marking
the package
unmaintained.

Description:
------------
There are some problems in the Blockquote parser because of the use of 2
different regex and the modification of the text (removing and inserting
\n) done in the process() method.

I'll show the results using the Xhtml renderer, but these problems are
parser related, so common to all the renderers.

Test script:
---------------
This text disappeared
This did not generate

a paragraph inside the citation
This inverted the closing tags

violating the XHTML
This will not generate

any new paragraph
Can be a problem?
Expected result:
----------------
Anything acceptable. The attached patch provides the following result:

&gt;This text disappeared <blockquote>This did not generate<p>a
paragraph inside the citation</p>

</blockquote>
<blockquote>This inverted the closing tagsviolating the XHTML
</blockquote>
<blockquote>This will not generateany new paragraph
<blockquote>Can be a problem? </blockquote>
</blockquote>

Actual result:
--------------
<blockquote>This did not generatea paragraph inside the citation
</blockquote>
<blockquote>This inverted the closing tags<p>violating the XHTML
</blockquote>

</p>

<blockquote>This will not generateany new paragraph
<blockquote>Can be a problem? </blockquote>
</blockquote>

    This bug has been fixed in SVN.

    If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net
    by the end of next Sunday (CET).

    If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should
    be live shortly.

    Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.

    Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.
