Summary: A comment shouldn't trigger a "last content on the
line" error

Package Version: SVN
PHP Version: 5.3.8

+Status: Feedback
The PEAR standard says that it should be the last content on a line. I
don't believe
comments are just allowed anywhere, although you may want to clarify the
position
of the PEAR QA group on their mailing list if you strongly oppose it.

Previous Comments:

[2011-11-08 16:56:47] bkendig

Description:
------------
This line:

$n = new Default_Model_Name( //name

triggers this message:

error - Opening parenthesis of a multi-line function call must
be the last content on the line

It probably shouldn't; aren't comments allowed to go
anywhere? Technically, comments aren't content.

Test script:
---------------
$n = new Default_Model_Name( //name
$this->_formData['stepTwo']['title'],
$this->_formData['stepTwo']['firstName'],
$this->_formData['stepTwo']['lastName'],
$this->_formData['stepTwo']['middleInitial'],
$this->_formData['stepTwo']['suffix']
);

Expected result:
----------------
Nothing

Actual result:
--------------
error - Opening parenthesis of a multi-line function call must be
the last content on the line
