This bug has been fixed in SVN.

If this was a documentation problem, the fix will appear on pear.php.net
by the end of next Sunday (CET).

If this was a problem with the pear.php.net website, the change should
be live shortly.

Otherwise, the fix will appear in the package's next release.

Thank you for the report and for helping us make PEAR better.

$xspf =& new File_XSPF();
$xspf-> setLicense('http://www.mydomain.com/');
$xspf-> setLocation('http://www.yourdomain.com/');

$xspf-> toFile('test.xspf');

// The current code for 'void setLocation( string $location)' will not
create a <location> tag, because the location is not properly saved.
// According to the spec this should work exactly like the 'void
setLicense( string $license)' function
// see test.xspf results

Got a test script that demonstrates why?

Line 862 currently is:
if (File_XSPF::_validateURL($location->_url)) {

Line 862 should be:
if (File_XSPF::_validateURL($location)) {
