Reported By: mike at silverorange dot com
Summary: Confusing download link location on download page
Status: Open
Type: Bug
Package: pearweb
Operating System: Irrelevant
Package Version: 1.21.0
PHP Version: Irrelevant
Roadmap Versions:
New Comment:

I'm kinda leaning towards wontfix - downloading is the wrong user
action to start out with, and the 'more info' link *should* have gotten
them back on the right path.

That being said, if you feel like making a patch, I'll stick it on.

Description:
------------
A user in IRC had trouble finding the package download link on the
download page:

"I have some usage feedback about the Pear site. I tried to download
something on this page: http://pear.php.net/package/PHP_Parser/download.
I first clicked 0.2.1 on the left, then I clicked"Download" on the right
and only then I clicked 0.2.1 on the right, which is the right link."

Expected result:
----------------
Don't link version on left if you are on the page for that version.
Make the download link more obvious, maybe use the full tgz filename in
the link.
