The request for removing from the list comes up now and then. Maybe it
is a good idea to move the sub/unsub info from the header to the
trailer. In the current arrangement, if one does not show all the
headers information, the sub/unsub instruction can not be seen in a
straight way. People usuallly only show the 'normal' headers, like From,
To, Date etc. Of course, unsubscribe like subscribe is always the one's
own fault, but making the unsub-info more obvious will do help people
who can not get rid of the list by themselves due to various reasons. I
believe if they know how to do it, they would not bother to spend much
much more time on keeping sending such a request to the list, yet on the
risk of becoming the target being bashed.

Please help me. I want to get off of this list.
Maybe it's the phase of the moon. Another 'individual' asked just today.
At least you are asking nicely.
If you send email to
[email protected] you will receive
instructions that include how to unsubscribe from this list.
The same instructions were sent to you when the list moved to
perl.org or when you subscribed, whichever was later. All these
addresses are also in the headers of all messages sent through
dbi-users.
If you have already tried the instructions from
d
[email protected] and were not able to get removed from the
list, please send your request to
[email protected] as the
instructions tell you to, not to the list.
Thank you for starting a new thread and asking politely.
