No, Lucene's caches are not persisted, only in RAM. Are you using a
new IndexReader/IndexSearcher for your subsequent searches? If not,
you're likely not leveraging any caches at all.

    No, Lucene's caches are not persisted, only in RAM. Are you using a
    new IndexReader/IndexSearcher for your subsequent searches? If not,
    you're likely not leveraging any caches at all.
