FAQ
I'd like to volunteer to start a group focused on performance testing HBase to ensure new versions don't regress.

Anyone with ideas or interest in helping, please email me.

I want in. Why not just use this dev list? Move to new forum when if
    it starts to overwhelm?

I want in too. And +1 on keeping it on the dev list for now and moving it out when it gets unwieldy..

Should be trivial to create an ASF list for perf-based discussions too...

Sigh... Well we have a google group set up with a bunch of members. That will teach me to be proactive.

So far we've had ~10 messages on where to have the discussion as opposed to having the discussion. That's par right? Next one's for real? :-) Doesn't matter where.

Just to be clear, the effective communication channel is [email protected] for now,
    right?
