FAQ
Has anyone tried backporting the recent changes to support customizable
Hadoop job scheduling including support for the fair scheduler back to the
more stable 0.18.3 branch? If not, does anyone with enough knowledge of the
code know whether this would be straightforward?

thanks,
Scott

    Hi Scott,

We do have it backported for the Cloudera distribution. If you download the
source packages you can easily see the patches we used to do so.
