Jaql is a query language being developed for JSON data that runs on Hadoop and HBase. We are pleased to announce Release 0.2 including:
* Easier ways to extend functions
* Easier ways to extend readers/writers
* Enhanced work on query rewrites, including the use of Map/Reduce's combiners
(local aggregation).
