FAQ
It's been 4 months since Hadoop 0.20.0 feature freeze...time for a
release!

I've created a candidate build for Hadoop 0.20.0.

***Please download and test it before the vote closes on Tuesday,

Should we release this?

Should HADOOP-5655 be a blocker for the release? It's a testcase bug.

What is the vote status? What should we do for committing patches to 0.20.x?

    Hi, please note

    javac -classpath /hadoop/hadoop-0.20.0-core.jar WordCount.java

    gives error

    WordCount.java:69: cannot access org.apache.commons.cli.Options
class file for org.apache.commons.cli.Options not found
    String[] otherArgs = new GenericOptionsParser(conf,
    args).getRemainingArg

Corresponding command works fine with 0.18.3 and 0.19.1

    thanks
