FAQ
Hello,

I've been having problems getting an EC2 storm cluster to initialize using
storm-deploy today. It appears to be failing initializing Ganglia. The
storm cluster initialization was working for me a couple of days ago, but
it has started failing today. The command I use is:

lein run :deploy --start --name myclustername --release 0.8.1

The stack trace I get is:

remote-file /root/.ssh/config...
MD5 sum is b6a9bf6bf5b2aa4e5cde785e72d9d333 /root/.ssh/config

We were able to solve this by updating the pallet java-crate and configure
it to use JDK 7, see here:
    https://github.com/sonarme/storm-deploy

(The new java-crate required a newer version of jclouds (thx,
https://github.com/troycald/storm-deploy), as well as the Ubuntu 12 Precise
    LTS AMI instead of Maverick.)

I have been struggling to get storm-deploy to work. no luck. using the
official repo yeilds the problem from above. No luck with applying the
    https://github.com/nathanmarz/storm-deploy/pull/19/files pull request
    locally either.

@Ben I tried your fork, got this exception:

I've run into this problem too, but it usually works after retrying 1-3
times. (It seems like pallet is not very resilient.)

storm-deploy today. It appears to be failing initializing Ganglia. The
storm cluster initialization was working for me a couple of days ago, but
it has started failing today. The command I use is:

lein run :deploy --start --name myclustername --release 0.8.1

The stack trace I get is:

Anybody else having this problem or have any ideas how to fix it?

    Thanks,
    Vijay
