Sorry for this irritating and noobish question. But, I was wondering if
somebody can enlighten me on what's exactly spree_store_credits extension
is meant for? What all I should assume can be done from this extension?

    If you check the README then it should explain it well. If the README doesn't explain it well, then that would be a bug and I would recommend filing an issue on that project.
