    Forgot to mention: no monthly fees with stripe...which can make it really
    attractive if you don't know what's your monthly volume is going to be

    I just use spree_gateway and fill in the appropriate fields in the config
    page. It wasn't hard, but you do have to make sure your SSL is set up and
    working, and you need to use the testing tools they give you, too, and do a
    few fake transactions. The cc processing looks to users just like regular
    cc processsing, and they don't see that it's through paypal.

    paypal express is essentially completely independent-- the
    spree_paypal_express gem handles that.
