FAQ
I use InternetExplorerDriver and java code to start more than one IE
browser, then code cannot find html element. When just open one IE browser,
every thing is ok. IE version: IE8, OS:XP

    Thanks. It has lots of infos about more instance of IE on one machine, but
    this problem seems still not resolved yet in selenium 2.25, does it?

    I tried to open 4 processes to take actions on IE browser. It cannot run
    smoothly or totally auto. When running a while, some browsers quit except
    only one browser and log says "Error communication with the remote browser.
    It may have died."

    Thanks. This new version could support multiple instances of IE. Though
    it's not smooth comparing with Firefox, some times program has located the
    element, since there is a board around target element blink, but it can't
    simulate human click. I m*ust* help the program to hit the button. But this
    can resolve my problem now. Thanks.

    i have successfully run an instance of the firefox chrome and ie9 drivers
    at the same time and it worked as long as the window of one browser didnt
    overlap with the windows of the others. also from what ive learned the ie
    driver is very finicky.

    you might be able to do it if you manually switch focus between the browser
    windows.
    in theory you could make a method that switches to the appropriate window
    when it needs to do something to an element from that instance but
    considering how unstable the ie river is it may not work or it may not work
    on long tests.
