      i knw this one..while recording from IDE i can get the window id ..i just
    wanna to knw how to get the window id by own is there is any way with the
    help of firebug or in source file where exactly function is defined.

    use selenium.getwindownames(); and store it in a array. it will
    capture all the window names open during that time.

    when you record you can find selectWindow=windowname. Windowname will be
    the popup name.

    Hi Jeevan,

    Could you please explain your answer "when you record you can find
    selectWindow=windowname. Windowname will be the popup name." I didn't quite
    understand it.

    I have the same problem. Going nuts with selectWindow <window title>
    command.
