New issue 5885 by pdos...@gmail.com: IE 9 - control not returned to calling
code after clicking on element which opens the save/open notification bar
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Click on link which opens the 'Save/Open' notification bar (Notification
frame) at the bottom of IE 9 browser
2. Write a code immediately after above 'Click', which will print
something. This piece of code which is written after the click, is not
executed at all since the control is not returned to the calling code.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The actual output is that after the notification bar appears, the webdriver
assumes that it is still not loaded and waits indefinetly while expected
output is that the webdriver should not wait indefinetly and the control
should be returned to the calling code.
Selenium version: selenium-server-standalone-2.32.0.jar, IEDriverServer 2.32
OS: Windows 7
Browser: Internet Explorer 9
Browser version: 9
1. I am using eclipse and Java JDK1.6.0_43.
2. Am invoking the driver through the below code
File file = new File("IEDriverServer.exe");
DesiredCapabilities ieCapabilities = DesiredCapabilities.internetExplorer();
WebDriver driver = new InternetExplorerDriver(ieCapabilities);
3. The 'Protected mode' settings are different among the 4 zones because of
company security policy.
