I've been gone to the states for the last month (went and proposed. it was
an exciting trip) and had salt turned off on our systems during that time.
I'm actually working right now on the computer that most consistently
crashes. I've updated everything, and it seems to have aleviated the issue.
The issue seemed to be related to msgpack, which when I upgrade the master
I noted that package being removed. If it comes up again and I be move this
over to github as requested. but right now I can't say as there is an
issue, which I hope is truely the case.

Github so we don't forget about this?

I've got about 3 minions (of my currently 16) whom I have switched the
minion service off. These minions randomly crash and several of them have
reported this problem. Is there a way to globally turn on logging? I got
these logs by going to the affected minions and running salt-minion -l
debug. Because the behavior is the same I assume all the minions are
suffering from the same issue, but I don't have the logs to back such a
claim.
The most recent instance of this was 2 days ago, so it is still a
problem.

salt minion was crashing computers. here are some logs:
ws25: pastebin.com/Xzd1G3We
ws27: pastebin.com/mMjdgvV1
ws25 seems to have something related to the minion trying to start back
up again after crashing and ZMQ being blocked out of it's socket. ws27
however seems to have something a miss with msgpack. Anyone else had
similar problems?
