[salt-users] Minion did not return - Windows 2012 R2

Having problems making salt work with windows. NP at all with Linux.

A simple ping test returns:


[[email protected] bdapp-packages]# salt -G "os:Windows" -v test.ping

SALTWINTEST2.NA1.ad.group:
     Minion did not return


It's our only Windows box at the moment. I was able to, at one point, run a
sls and configure IIS the way i wanted. I thought it might be a timing
issues so i bumped up the timeout setting in my master file. results are:

[email protected] bdapp-packages]# time salt -G "os:Windows" -v test.ping

I am stuck at this point and frustrated. Again my Linux test boxes work
absolutely fine. Any help is appreciated.
