In this Role
You will also be expected to:
contribute new ideas to rapidly evolving architectures
help continuously improve our teamwork and development processes
provide and receive technical guidance, mentoring, and training to/from
your team members at all levels.

We work on a wide variety of systems: public information websites, mobile
sales tools, energy usage reporting tools, and back-end loan processing
software. Our current project is a financial services call center system.

We are Agile, though estimating isn't a huge focus. Our product owners have
been well trained so we hum along pulling logically consistent stories from
our queue. We architect collaboratively, pair occasionally, but mostly work
solo with code reviews and pull requests. We try to keep knowledge silos to
a minimum. Everyone works on everything. We work regular business hours
on-site with the occasional coffee shop or work-from-home day.

You are a skilled developer with:
experience using Ruby beyond Rails.
2+ years with Ruby development
5+ years with Object Oriented development
a firm grounding in web application development, object-oriented design
patterns, and test/behavior-driven development.
an understanding of the importance of continuous integration and automation.
SQL and database design experience.

    borderline when recruiting a senior dev here in the Midwest - and probably
    gets more lolz than responses in the Bay...

    Too bad I'm brazilian, so I have to content myself with an equivalent job,
    but getting less than 7k/year (with lucky and only for those who have more
    than 5 years of experience) :/ Oh boy, you guys don't know how lucky you
    are.
