1. Position: Lead/Senior Application Engineer
Location: San Mateo, CA
Duration: Fulltime/ Contract to Hire
Requirements:
Developed usable, responsive applications in Ruby on Rails or Java /
Spring / Hibernate
Experience with UI frameworks (such as RoR and a broad set of Ruby tools
and gems) is desired as well as knowledge of mapping tools and services
such as Google Maps.
A track record of solid UI design and software development in RoR or
other languages should be clearly evident
Strong fundamentals in data structures and object-oriented design
Ability to take a project from scoping requirements through actual
launch of the project
Preferred Experience/Education:
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as C, C++, Java,
PERL or Python
Proficiency in HTML/JavaScript/CSS/JQuery/AJax
MySQL and Linux experience are also desirable for this role
At least 5+ years of experience in software development
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
2. Position: Ruby on Rails Programmer
Location: Belmont, CA
Duration: Full time
Requirements
10+ years of development experience building scalable web applications
Superb JavaScript, JQuery, and HTML skills
Experienced with Ruby on Rails development
Experienced with cross-browser CSS
Experienced in creating and using REST based web services
Comfortable leading a sprint/agile environment
Deep understanding of TDD driven development
Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug production issues
Ability to work directly with QA, Operations, and Product Management
BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
Bonus Points
Experience with HighCharts.js
Experienced with MVC JavaScript frameworks such BackBone.js or
knockout.js
Google maps API (V3) experience
Solar experience
3. Role: QA Automation Engineer
Location: San Mateo, CA
Duration: Fulltime
Responsibilities:
Web and mobile user application testing
Develop test plans
Test/user case generation
Defect tracking
QA-related tools development
Requirements:
Strong systems thinking
Technical breadth and creative innovations well beyond the typical web
or desktop application
Ability to document clear QA process and product defects is a must
Good organization, good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to see the big picture without losing the clarity of the details
Prior experience testing on both mobile and SaaS (web) application
platforms
At least one of the preferred knowledges: Ruby on Rails, Python, and
Perl, and shell in a Unix/Linux environment
3+ years experience
Preferred Knowledge and Experience:
Scripting ability in Ruby on Rails, Python, and Perl, and shell in a
Unix/Linux environment is preferred
Exposure to Java, Objective C languages is preferred
