I am totally new to REDIS as this is the first time I came across this
nosql db. I installed Redis using the src files.
gcc version : gcc (GCC) 3.2.3 20030502 (Red Hat Linux 3.2.3-59). When I
run the server thus ./src/redis-server, it crashes and gives the following

Segmentation fault

I tried using gdb but it does not help. There is no process-id created as
there is no server service running.
