FAQ
The Go support for protocol buffers has moved to GitHub:
   https://github.com/golang/protobuf
This includes source code and issue tracking.

Please rewrite your import paths and update your build scripts
accordingly. You can rewrite your imports with a command such as
   sed -i 's,"code.google.com/p/goprotobuf/,"github.com/golang/protobuf/,'
$(find * -name '*.go')

The old location (code.google.com/p/goprotobuf) will not change for
now; it will be decommissioned at some point in the future.

Thanks.

Very cool. Will you accept contributions via PRs or are there special
    considerations?

We have accepted only limited contributions in the past because it's
an export of Google-internal code that is very fundamental, and needs
to be highly stable. It's mostly feature-complete for what is
required, so it's not really the kind of package for accepting much in
the way of contributions. Issues are probably the best way to ask for
particular things or point out bugs; the GitHub issue tracker will
    handle that nicely.
