Thanks for the lovely package. The V() pattern is cute.

Please note in your docs that flag.Parse() needs to have been called before any of the command line params take effect.
I spent way too much time on this.

    What package are you referring to?

    The standard flag package does have that mention:
    After all flags are defined, call
    flag.Parse()
    to parse the command line into the defined flags.

    This is a fine request. The docs for that package say to mail the list
    with issues, which is what he has done. No need for other mechanisms.
