Does any one know, what that error means? I've just installed the ZIP
version into c:\go on windows vista.

    I've found the bug. I've installed MinGW and then run go tool dist boostrap
    Now it works.

    That's not the bug. That's more of a work-around.

    After downloading the ZIP of Go for Windows, you should just be able to use
    it.

    You probably didn't have your GOROOT set correctly. If you use the Windows
    Installer package, it sets it up correctly for you.

    Does this mean I will have to uninstall and reinstall Go every time I
    update GAE from now on or is there a script to reintegrate somehow?

    Hopefully not. Reading through this thread I don't anything mentioned
    about app engine. If you were/are still having problems, could you
    please give some background on what the symptoms are ?
