FAQ
This sounds like a really dumb question, but how strong is the 'Go1.1' tag? I've seen comments on golang-dev to the effect that some Go1.1 tagged issues will not make it into 'Go1.1'.

Is it reasonable to interpret 'Go1.1' as 'Go1.1Probably'?

I believe that "Go1.1" is meant to be "we expect this to be in Go 1.1.
If there's a reevaluation of a particular issue then the tag should be
changed to Go1.1Maybe or dropped entirely.

I heard that some of the newest issues were marked 1.1 accidentally and so
that might throw some things off.

The Go1.1 tag means it's an issue we must decide about before the
release, that we hope to but do no not guarantee to resolve. The
Go1.1Maybe tag was the default tag added to all issues created for a
while, making sure we did a triage on them before the release. The
distinction isn't profound. Go1.1 issues are more likely to be
resolved before the release; Go1.1Maybe issues less likely.
