Capsule.fm is a 6-month old startup in Berlin. Our vision is to create
tools and products allowing the internet to be experienced by audio. We are
currently creating a whole new product category that will change the way we
consume content.
Capsule.fm plays your favorite online content as a live, interactive and
personalized audio experience. We take the best bits of the news, your
social media, email, stock and location information and create your very
own online listening experience. Using advanced text-to-speech technology
combined with our unique editorial engine, you can stay connected to your
online content when you can't use your eyes or hands.

We're creating the whole backend in Go, and all our curating/utility tools.
We need people with a pioneering spirit to join our team and mission, and
that find thrill in working with tasks like: .
Feed getting/filtering
natural language processing
story analysis, comparison and weighting
template matching
all including advanced database usage (currently Postgresql). Longer term
more audio processing might be done in Go too.
Some web-front-end and/or iOS/Android experience could also be of use.
We're looking for someone with programming experience, but not necessarily
a lot of Go experience, as it is quite new.
Experience from other backend/database work would be natural.
We are a 4-person team in Berlin currently part of the hub:raum accelerator
program, also part of Startupbootcamp Berlin.
