FAQ
On a narrow screen, it is hard to read <build.golang.org> for the
right-hand-side platforms, more so for the sub-repositories. I'd like
to suggest adding a repeated column around the middle for the package
name (and link, I guess), so when you pan right you can still see what
the package is. Saves expanding the browser window.

The top portion doesn't matter as the leftmost column does not seem to
convey anything immediately interesting.

Lucio.

PS: I hope the above isn't terribly obscure.

It seems that the whole thing could be made smaller, without adding the
    repeated column.

    e.g. a mockup

Basically, replace the "ok" with ○ or •. Replace "fail" with ⨯ or ∎
Rotate all the headers 90deg, (currently I replaced them with a single
letter to demonstrate the width.), alternatively use some short label and
    provide a hint/legend.

You can rotate them only 45 degrees, that still keeps them legible and
they occupy just a little more than a single letter.

And amd64p32 gets an undeserved lion's share, to add my quibble.

Still, what's wrong with repeating a column? More platforms will
cause scrolling eventually, just make it readable.

There are so many more important things we could fix than this.

FWIW, the table is intentionally simple and not compact. Egon's proposed
rewrite is quite cryptic: you have to know all these magic 1-letter names.
When we started this, we were explicitly trying to avoid something that
required expertise to read. Compare with
    http://build.chromium.org/p/chromium/waterfall. (I can't tell you what's
going on there, and that's the point.)

I actually wasn't proposing to use those magic 1-letter names, it was the
easiest way to demonstrate how much space can be removed and still show the
relevant information. Rotating the headers 90deg/45deg would be sufficient
to get the same effect. The only cryptic notation would be "o", "x" for
passes/failures, but should be quite easy to figure out.

It's also possible to make the left most column frozen, but probably
    someone would dislike that behavior.
