FAQ
I would like to subscribe to all new bugs (and potentially filter
interesting things in my mail client). Should we automatically CC
golang-dev on new bugs? Or create golang-bugs? I would prefer the former.

    I'm not opposed to this.

I use the rss link to get all the updates, but i am not opposed to getting the updates via email.

There's a potential issue with this. If we get mails to a mailing
list, we have to make sure that discussion on the list makes it back
into the issue DB. Otherwise we have the information about a bug split
    in 2 different places.

I think google code actually has support for something like this, but
I'm a bit worried about the amount of traffic that would result from
having all bug updates be mailed. I'm leaning towards a separate list
    for this purpose.

    Regards,
    Daniel Morsing

Yup, that is a fair comment. I have no preference to one mailing list or two, it is easy to subscribe and or filter.

I would like this. Either one is fine with me.

I created a golang-bugs@googlegroups.com mailing list that will get copies
of all issue tracker activity. Only the issue tracker has permission to
post to that group. Replies should be done on the issue tracker or on
    golang-dev.

    Thanks Russ,

Could I press my luck and as for a [golang-bugs] prefix on the
messages so I can distinguish the messages easily in my non gmail mail
    clients.

    Cheers

    +1 on this.
then i don't need to star everyone.

we just need to add whatever mailing list we choose to the
default cc list, and email reply will be added to the issue.
