To add to Robert's correct response.
It maybe however that you are not clear on what targets you have in a RAC
environment. A 2 node RAC database would consist essentially of 3 distinct
targets. One for the cluster database (target type rac_database IIRC ) and
one each for the 2 instances ( target type oracle_database IIRC) - in a
clustered environment some metrics get measured at the cluster level and
some at the instance level (by and large the split is what you'd expect). A
monitoring template is useful for applying metrics from one target to others
of the same type. In your circumstance I can't see what you'd gain from
creating a template based (presumably) on several instances, to apply to
other instances in the same cluster - that is I don't see why 2 or more
instances would be more representative than 1 instance.

unfortunately, that is not possible. You only get to select one
representative target and have to fill the rest of your requirements
manually. Selecting another target would discard all the information
you got from the first one.

I am using Database Control (Not Grid Control) to monitor my 11gR2 RAC
After reading the documentation, I have seen I can create a monitoring
template per target, but, my question is; Is it possible to create a
monitoring template from multiple targets?
I wonder if there is such possibility...
