Can someone explain the wait events like rdbms ipc message, jobq slave wait, PX Deque wait, direct path read, enqueue and how to tackle them. Thanks

    That's why Oracle has built the support site called metalink and supplied
    official manual documents.

    Before learning how to 'fix' them, you need to learn how to determine
    which, if any, of them are actually a problem.

    What are you trying to accomplish?

    Reduce numbers seen on a statspack report?

    User complaining about performance?
