Oracle 10g R2 Client for MS Vista (10.2.0.3).
Attempting to leverage the Oracle Universal Installer for 10g R2.
Have had success in the past with earlier versions.
This time around, the size of the installed Oracle_Home is 962 MB.
I'm not even asking to include SQL Plus, just the networking client.
Instant client is not sufficient for this app.
Has anyone had success with reducing the size of the installed footprint?
In the Install window (not running silent to debug) it was only supposed to
use 452 MB of space.
That's still enormous compared to earlier versions, but well under 1 GB.
