FAQ
We are running oracle 10.2.0.1 on Solaris 5.10

SQL> select * from v$version;

BANNER

Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bi

PL/SQL Release 10.2.0.1.0 - Production

CORE 10.2.0.1.0 Production

TNS for Solaris: Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production

NLSRTL Version 10.2.0.1.0 - Production

But in udump directory, I see lots of small trace files, and typically
it has something like

Does anyone know why I am getting these? I am curious what the root

Thanks.

    Looks like it could be an existing or new bug associated with redo log
    corruption

    See info on bugs 6270459 and 5688052
