Critical Patch Update for April 2007
p5948242 - 10.2.0.3 patch 4 for MS Win32

I'd think about holding off testing this patch for a few days (wait
for the re-issue).
SMON is taking down the database instance right after startup.
I'll post again if I see what the source of this is but for right now,
this is an opatch rollback and a restore.

ora-7445 lookup and call stack trace lookup are a swing and a miss.

Now that I think about it, I was going to download and update opatch
prior to applying the patchset. Sorry for the premature post there.

    From the very fine readme.html:

    3.2 OPatch Utility Information

You must use the OPatch utility release 10.2.0.3.1 or later. You can
download it from Oracle MetaLink with patch 4898608. NOTE: Download
the 10.2.0.3 version, not the 10.2.0.1 or 10.2.0.2 version.

Animated cursors still don't belong in OUI.

reproduced the error, but this time the ora-7445 was [_ksbasend_internal+33].
database instance will not open after running catcpu.sql and being
    shutdown/restarted.

    avoid this patch.

    (ms w2k3 r2 32 bit, 10g R2 standard edition, 10.2.0.3 patchset,
10.2.0.3 patch 1 applied, 10.2.0.3 patch 4 applied with opatch
    10.2.0.3.1).
