Is this a DEAD Lock? Why don't I see any error messages in the alert log.
Oracle 8174 on HP UX.

    Hmm...it looks like the info you've provided is incomplete.

    Where did you get this? The output below looks like
    the output of a query, probably on V$LOCK. =20
    The reason it looks incomplete is that while there
    is one "waiter" (sid 65), it doesn't appear to be
    blocked by anything. Note that there's only one
    line that shows a non-zero in the "REQUEST" column,
    which would indicate a waiting process. Further,
    it looks like sid 65 is waiting on a TX enqueue,
    where ID1=3D1730955 and ID2=3D547023, but there are
    no other sessions shown holding that enqueue. =20
    So, why's 65 waiting, if no one else is blocking?

    Bottom line, no, this doesn't look like a deadlock,
    but there's not enough info here to draw any
    real conclusions.

    Please provide more detailed info as to your=20
    situation, and how you arrived with the provided
    output. (The specific query executed would be
    helpful.)
