downloaded? how about applied?
the readme.txt lacks details as to what actions are necessary if the
previous 126.96.36.199.16 patchset was applied. lovely.
guess I could remove that oracle software installation and reclone
from the source database that I used in the prior iteration.
what a huge waste of time.
guess that I'd rather waste an iTAR than nuke that install and re-clone.
I'll see what happens with the iTAR and report back.

For alert 68, Oracle re-posted the 8i for windows patch on September 4th.
If you downloaded it before that date, download it again.
Keep an eye on the patchset size.
Good job they had the much publicised delay for these fixes so that
the relase of the patchset would be more streamlined!
