What is stored in the SQLServer table? Maybe you could look at creating the
field as some form of LOB? Maybe the data will fit in to a large VARCHAR2
field? With databases like Access and SQLServer you can have multiple
columns in a table of datatype MEMO or whatever the SQLServer equivalent
is - I forget.. The corresponding one for Oracle is usually made LONG, but
sometimes you can get away with a VARCHAR2(4000).

Hi all,
I am trying to Import a database Design and Data into Oracle from MS SQL
Server 2k. All tables have been imported excepting for one.
Error message:
ORA: 01754: a table may contain only one column of type LONG
What should I do to be able to import the table into Oracle?
Thanx in advance,
Jyoti.
