We need to add 1.4.3, just in case. If we don't use it we bump all
tickets to 1.5. Right now there are tickets still marked 1.4.2 --- they
should be 1.4.3.

There was talk of doing a 1.4.3 release, mainly to pick up any
possible regression with dojo.declare that Eugene is looking at.

If we are doing a 1.4.3, then I would prefer to wait on the CDN update
if we see it coming in say a couple weeks.

I don't see critical mass on a 1.4.3 at this point. Eugene, would it
make sense to work on the dojo.declare regression on trunk and if/when
we have a resolution, we can revisit back-porting to 1.4.3? As James
said, if there's a chance of that happening in a week or two, we can
avoid an extra CDN release, but if that's not realistic, I think we
ought to push 1.4.2 SRTL.

Most of the tickets currently in 1.4.2 are getting bumped. Most
remaining, aside from Eugene's, are doc-related or otherwise related
to deployment of the release.

In any case we need to update dojotoolkit.org/download to point to the
1.4.2 download (rather than the 1.4.1 download), for the security fixes,
right? I guess it could still point to the 1.4.1 CDN.

months, but I guess it doesn't hurt.... well it could hurt,

we can skip an intermediate release. That will give us and our users an
ample time to test.

Are we still on track to release 1.4.2 to the CDN? I suspect we've
confused users by announcing 1.4.2 before it was on CDN, and that was
mostly my fault, but it seemed like the easiest way of getting the
security fix out there.

BTW there was a bad bug in 1.4.2, I broke the menu for the scrolling
TabContainer (the menu that lists all the tabs). I fixed it on trunk
and in the 1.4 branch. Not sure if it's worth having a 1.4.3 or not.

So Bill and I talked it over. Might as well go for 1.4.3 and push
that to the CDNs. We'll wait until #dojo-meeting. One last chance if
you can find any more regressions.

Like Adam, I don't see the point of a 1.4.3 either, since 1.5 is so
close, and since the dojo.declare() problem has been there for over 3
months, but I guess it doesn't hurt.... well it could hurt,
dojo.declare() changes could easily break something in dijit.
