also has lots of N and N^2 issues. If we're not directly challenging

btw, the collections.Store is actually a bit faster than you'd think
(I implemented hashtable lookup on most things there a while ago);
it's just that I accepted a number of patches based on indexing that
would make you think it's O(N) and N^2. Not that it matters...but
this is definitely something for the dojo.data team to keep in mind.
