No, the installer bin will not work, and we don't officially support any
releases except 10.04 and 12.04 right now. You can try to use the 12.04
packages by adding the repository by hand and then installing the debs. The
server should run fine as is, but you will probably need to rebuild the
agent's virtualenv after installing it. If you're not comfortable with
that, I'd strongly recommend using 12.04 for now. We do intend to support
14.04 at some point after it's released, but I can't tell you exactly when
that will happen.
