FAQ
Hi,

we are using Cloudera Manager 4.8.0 with Impala 1.2.3.
When looking at the Activity Monitor in CM we see some Impala queries
"GET_SCHEMAS" and "GET_TABLES" listed as running for a couple of days. But
actually, there are no running Impala queries. This must be some queries
generated by the Impala UI of Hue. What is happening here?

Thx,
Alex

Until C5b2 (and normally CDH4.6 for CDH4) Hue is not closing this type of
(metadata) queries so they will show up as running:

Is there an easy way to remove those "running" queries?

    Thx,
    Alex

You can 'cancel' or filter them 'out' them in CM/Impala UI I guess in the
    meantime until an upgrade.
