Which step are you on following the installation instructions?

I installed Cloudera Manager and CDH.. I kind of understand what the
problem is. I reinstalled CM server and agents and I recreated the database
scm for storing CM server data. When I try to start the service, it is
looking for tables in scm database but they aren't getting created. The
database scm is empty even after following all the steps. I have attached a
copy of the log too. Thanks.

    Hi Sandeep,

The log when CM server starts is missing. Stop CM server, cleanup/backup
existing logs and restart CM server. That will create a new log and we can
see messages when CM server is starting. It prints out db connection
    information at that time.

Also look into /etc/cloudera-scm-server/db.properties file and check what
it has for db host, name, user and password. Can you use same credential to
    connect to database?
