FAQ
Cloudera manager installation is getting failed in the below step

6.start-embedded-db.log

I can see the below error in the file.

sed: -e expression #1, char 3: expected \ after `a', `c' or `i'

What could be the error.

Thanks,
Vishnu

    Hey Vishnu,

What does following return on your setup:

    cat /proc/sys/kernel/shmmax

If this is empty (or invalid) then you can hit this issue. Also as Todd
asked, can you please let us know the Linux distro where you are seeing
    this?

    - Vikas
