FAQ
Hi,

  I am installing Cloudera Manager.

  Host file is as following:

  *Hosts. file*

127.0.0.1 localhost

#127.0.1.1 uos

  # The following lines are desirable for IPv6 capable hosts

::1 ip6-localhost ip6-loopback

fe00::0 ip6-localnet

ff00::0 ip6-mcastprefix

ff02::1 ip6-allnodes

ff02::2 ip6-allrouters

192.168.3.235 uos.mydomain.com uos

  Problem:

    I tried to search with IP address “192.168.3.235”, canonical name *“uos.mydomain.com”,
    *hostname name* “uos” *and local host* “127.0.0.1”*. But it could not
    connect to host. In all cases error displaying *“Could not connect to
    host”*.
