FAQ
Hi,

I have followed the steps outlined in
http://blog.cloudera.com/blog/2013/03/how-to-create-a-cdh-cluster-on-amazon-ec2-via-cloudera-manager/ to
install Cloudera Manager and run it.

The problem is when I get into the manager I think it does not recognize
it's on EC2 since no option to select the instances to create appears.

Any ideas on what to do?

Cheers,
Juan.

In the same post there is a comment that gave me the solution. I had to
enter directly to the URL for the AWS installation which had the pattern:

    http://ec2-xxxxxx.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com:7180/cmf/cloud-express-wizard/specs?provider=aws-ec2
