Hi Tim,
You can create a user account in Hue named "hdfs", then log in to hue as
"hdfs" and create a new directory and assign it global read/write
permissions.
You can also do this by command line, using "sudo -u hdfs" to run commands
as the hdfs user.

Hi All,
How can I setup a common work directory for all users or a few and allow
them to move files in and out of that directory. Would like to do this with
Hue but don't see that option and when trying to move or copy a file Hue
reminds me that I'm an admin not a "HDFS Superuser (which is HDFS)".
Thoughts?
