FAQ
I am trying to run this :

sudo service hadoop-hdfs-zkfc start

I get the below exception :

2013-04-03 23:22:14,893 FATAL org.apache.hadoop.ha.ZKFailoverController:
Unable to start failover controller. Parent znode does not exist. Run with
-formatZK flag to initialize ZooKeeper.

Where do I set this flag ? Any pointers will be helpful ?

Thanks,
Abhina

Under Cloudera Manager, you don't need to (and shouldn't) run any
initscripts or `service xyz ...' commands. To turn on HDFS HA, just go
through the "Enable HA" wizard (HDFS -> Actions).
